Responsibilities
Workflow Optimization: Evaluate and re-engineer warehouse workflows and facility layouts to maximize throughput and minimize waste
Scalability Planning: Design and implement operational frameworks that allow for rapid scaling of new business units and product lines
Technology Integration: Lead the selection and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP modules to automate manual tasks and improve data integrity
Multi-Site Oversight: Direct operations across all U.S. facilities, ensuring consistent adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
Capacity Planning: Monitor facility utilization and manage long-term space planning to accommodate inventory growth and seasonal fluctuations
Inventory Integrity: Oversee rigorous cycle counting programs and physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy levels
Health & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, healthcare regulatory requirements, and local building codes across all locations
GDD & GNS Support: Direct the physical fulfillment and quality control processes for Gentell Direct Delivery and Gentell Nutrition Services, ensuring unique handling requirements are met
Part B Compliance Operations: Manage the operational audit trails and facility compliance necessary for Part B services, ensuring documentation and physical handling meet healthcare standards
Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor strict QC checkpoints within the pick-and-pack process for wound care products to eliminate shipping errors
Organizational Development: Directly manage and mentor a high-performing team of Warehouse Managers, Facility Supervisors, and Special Operations leads
KPI Management: Define and track "Internal Health" metrics, including Labor Efficiency, Order Cycle Time, Facility Cost per Order, and Safety Incident Rates
Strategic Resource Allocation: Focus on labor cost optimization, facility maintenance expenses, and equipment ROI
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive leadership in high-volume operations or facility management
Proven ability to manage multi-site teams and collaborate with executive leadership on long-term corporate strategy
Preferred
Strong background in medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated distribution environments
Advanced expertise in WMS/ERP systems and a track record of leading digital transformations within a warehouse environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
