Senior Software Engineer, Sustainability

The Senior Software Engineer, Sustainability will drive digital transformation initiatives by developing scalable solutions using Power Platform and Azure technologies, while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business processes.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and deploy solutions using full stack features using React, Power Platform REST API and other Azure services to further the digital transformation initiatives, reducing the manual tasks and streamline business processes
Work with stakeholders to understand the business requirements and leverage a variety of feedback channels to incorporate into feature design and solutions
Maintain the current assets and troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency
Create user-friendly solutions to enable teams to manage and navigate the processes seamlessly Scalability, Security and Compliance
Ensure that all solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with the organizational goals and standards
Implement all data security measures and governance and that the security measures are integrated into the development process from the very beginning
Comprehensive expertise in the DevOps lifecycle, with a strong commitment to code quality and deployment ownership
Explore new trends in technology to identify usability improvements and reduce inefficiencies
Stay current with emerging technologies and upskill to meet future business needs
Bring creativity in creating end to end solutions which are easy to use and reduce manual effort and increase stakeholder satisfaction

Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SQL Server, React, REST API, C#, JavaScript, Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse - OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SQL Server, React, REST API, C#, JavaScript, Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse + OR equivalent experience
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to derive insights from existing data to determine future insights
Preferred
Enterprise experience designing and deploying holistic reporting solutions; sustainability accounting experience, including GHG, SASB, GRI and TCFD standards preferred
Familiarity or experience in any of the following fields is preferred: circular economy, sustainability target setting, carbon accounting, sustainable finance, ESG due diligence, climate scenario analysis, and / or ESG governance
SASB FSA certification or similar preferred
Self-directed, motivated, creative, adaptable, unquestionable ethics and integrity, bias toward data-based decision making and a willingness to take calculated risks
Understanding of global sustainability related policies, regulations, standards, and literature preferred
