Responsibilities

Review and analyze customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue journal entries and account reconciliations
Work closely with the billing, sales operations, and legal teams to ensure contracts are reviewed and recorded accurately
Process and analyze billing transactions and deferred revenue schedules
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including revenue reporting and variance analysis
Assist with external audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to revenue accounting policies, procedures, and systems
Participate in cross-functional projects related to new product launches, process improvements, or system implementations
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of revenue accounting processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred)
2–4 years of experience in revenue accounting, general ledger accounting, or related role (public accounting and/or SaaS/software industry experience is a plus)
Knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 experience required)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred

CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
Public accounting and/or SaaS/software industry experience is a plus
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
