Client Director – Employee Health & Benefits
Marsh McLennan Agency is a leading provider of business insurance and employee health & benefits solutions. The Client Director will be responsible for managing client relationships within an assigned book-of-business, ensuring client needs are met and maintaining high retention rates.

Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the client relationship within an assigned book-of-business
Establishing and maintaining excellent internal and external relationships
Seeking and understanding the client’s needs
Managing the team responsible for delivering all aspects of our services delivered
Participating in the sales process as needed
Maintaining a high client retention rate
Maintaining a book of business that meets or exceeds the target book of business size over time
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelors degree, preferably in business
Minimum of 5 to 8 years industry experience working for an insurance agency, consulting firm, group insurance carrier or related experience
Demonstrated ability to manage senior level client executives and continue to cultivate the client relationship
Strong working knowledge of the group benefits industry, particularly within the financial and strategic planning areas
Strong leadership, persuasion, communication and writing skills
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Ability to work in a team leadership role
Must be self-directed, organized and resourceful
Must have and maintain a valid license to sell life and health insurance in the State of Michigan
