Responsibilities

You will review proposed and existing regulations and directives for conformance to naval requirements
You will develop and maintain correspondence processes, action officer and suspense controls assuring proper style and format, and similar matters
You will process and manage incoming and outgoing unclassified Naval messages and notify appropriate personnel
You will review travel request, provide training to personnel on Defense Travel System

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Utilizing office automation computer, systems, applications, software, and related equipment (i.e. Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Defense Travel System (DTS) and Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) systems); 2) Coordinating, preparing and verifying personnel documents and information in accordance with an organizations' s policies, standards, and guidelines; and 3) Providing a full range of clerical, administrative and customer service support for students and management
