Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues

Monitor for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by the location

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing security-related duties

Qualification

Required

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located

Must be at least 21 years of age

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
