Responsibilities
Perform in-depth failure analysis on electronic components and systems to identify root causes of defects
Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess failures and prepare detailed reports
Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
Establish and maintain robust failure analysis processes for consistent, accurate results
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
Document all procedures, findings, and corrective actions for future reference and process improvement
Stay current with industry trends and emerging failure analysis technologies
Participate in cross-functional projects to support product development and reliability initiatives
Mentor junior engineers and technicians in failure analysis best practices
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
3-5 years of experience in failure analysis within electronics or semiconductor industries
Proven expertise in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Hands-on experience with techniques such as SEM, EDX, and XRF
Familiarity with reliability testing and environmental stress screening
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation skills
Proficiency in laboratory equipment and failure analysis software tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in team settings
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in failure analysis and quality assurance
