Provide support to tax form production
Work collaboratively and optimally with others
Effectively leverage tools and resources
Partner with internal business partners to ensure compliance with regulations
Provide vision, review and ownership for projects and productions
Provide support during peak volumes for withholding reconciliations and filings
Review and validate Schwab Bank tax and withholding reconciliation
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in the tax and/or cost basis industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
Expertise in tax reporting
Preferred
Highly motivated and results driven
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service quality
Proven tax and cost basis experience and knowledge framework
Knowledge of IRS regulations in relation to broker/dealer reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work in an evolving environment as processes and procedures are developed
Strong MS Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets
Schwab Bank experience preferred
Series 7 license preferred
