Responsibilities

Carry your own quota: Personally deliver $XX in annual sales through your assigned dealer accounts
Own team revenue targets: Lead team to deliver $XX million in annual sales through dealer channel
Sell actively: Work your own pipeline daily—prospecting, presenting, negotiating, closing
Manage and develop the team: Coach, train, and drive performance for 3 reps + 1 SE
Build dealer relationships: Engage with top dealers (yours and team's) to maximize productivity
Execute channel programs: Deal registration, SPIFFs, training, QBRs
Drive pipeline discipline: Forecast accurately (personal and team), identify and close at-risk deals
Lead by example: Model the selling behaviors you expect from your team

Required

Carried and exceeded personal sales quota while managing a team
Sold through indirect channels (dealers, distributors, partners, VARs)
Balanced personal selling time with management responsibilities
Built strong relationships with channel partners
Coached sales reps to improve performance while maintaining your own numbers
Used CRM systems and data to manage both personal and team pipelines
Resolved channel conflicts fairly (including when your own deals were involved)
Hunger to sell—you haven't 'graduated' from selling, you still love it
Discipline to protect selling time while meeting management obligations
Bias toward action over analysis paralysis
Ability to simplify, not complicate
Strong communication skills (responsive, clear, concise)
High ownership mentality for BOTH your number and the team's number
Integrity—especially when your deals and team deals could conflict
