Responsibilities
Advise and represent public agencies, cities, counties, school districts, and special districts
Handle matters involving governance, land use, contracts, employment, litigation, and regulatory compliance
Provide day-to-day operational counsel to municipal and public agency clients
Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, and contracts
Support litigation and transactional matters involving public entities
Collaborate with experienced attorneys across departments on complex legal issues
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in public or municipal law (law firm or government setting)
California Bar admission required
Strong legal writing, analytical, and advisory skills
Team-oriented, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Preferred
Familiarity with Brown Act, Public Records Act, Political Reform Act, and other public agency regulations preferred
