Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle of insulation jacketing products, from concept through end-of-life
Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives
Identify opportunities for product line expansion, differentiation, and cost optimization
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys
Monitor industry trends, regulations, and standards
Partner with sales to understand customer applications and pain points
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations, and quality teams to define product requirements
Lead new product development initiatives, including business cases and launch plans
Ensure products meet performance, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements
Develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and margin targets
Work with marketing to create datasheets, specifications, and promotional content
Track product performance using KPIs such as revenue, margin, and market share
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and performance data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Business, or related field; or related experience
3-5+ years of experience in plastics, industrial materials, or building products
Knowledge of insulation systems and jacketing materials
Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with industrial insulation markets (HVAC, oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing)
Experience with regulatory and performance testing standards
Fluency in Spanish
