The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Administrative Analyst 2 for their Procurement division. This role involves assisting in the review and analysis of procurement transactions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, as well as handling invoicing and inquiries from various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assists in the review, and analysis of procurement transactions, proposals, goods, commodities or services, in order to ensure efficient and effective procurement
Duties entail the billing of annual fee and oversight cost invoices to responsible entities
Create, revise, facilitate the mailing and correction of errors on all invoicing
Help all internal personnel and field general and specific questions from responsible entities or their representatives, LSRPs and the general public via telephone and e-mail inquiries

Required

Six (6) years of professional experience in procurement through the competitive bidding process for a large public or private organization
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience
Possession of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Selected candidates must be authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship, and Immigration Services regulations

Preferred

Ability to learn and utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Software, including Excel, Word, Adobe
Ability to multi-task, to establish and maintain essential, shared records, and excellent organizational skills are essential to the position
