Start in 2026 SpringTalbert, Bright & Ellington, LLC is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain exposure to project-based accounting within the AEC industry. This role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations and working closely with accounting professionals on real projects that impact aviation infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Assist with vendor invoice entry and accounts payable processing
Support preparation of monthly client invoices and backup documentation packages
Help reconcile credit card statements and match receipts
Organize and maintain accounting records and project financial files
Assist with timekeeping reminders and verification of timesheet completion
Assist with basic month-end tasks, spreadsheets, and financial reports
Qualification
Required
Current student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting systems a plus
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly
Preferred
Interest in the AEC industry, project accounting, or corporate finance
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional work ethic
Ability to balance multiple tasks with accuracy and accountability
