Responsibilities

Perform cell culture to support ongoing projects (including stem cell culture and differentiation)
Perform flow cytometry and immunostaining
Perform in vivo work with mice, including SQ/IP injections, blood collection, intraperitoneal procedures, and tissue harvest
Work with project lead to establish and execute immunological assays
Perform ELISA, and ELISPOT assays
Analyze data and maintain extremely organized and accurate records using an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
Create routine scientific presentations and reports
Work with the Lab Operations team to ensure reagents and consumables inventory is accurately and efficiently supplied
Execute, troubleshoot, and communicate tasks independently and effectively

Required

BSc/BA +6 years of academic or industry experience in Biology or relevant scientific discipline
Experience with mammalian cell culture outside of coursework labs (experience with iPSC/hESC is highly desired)
Experience with flow cytometry and immunostaining
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in both Mac and PC computer environments (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Electronic Lab Notebooks)
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage a substantial workload
Ability to analyze and interpret data and report findings succinctly
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
Ability to work weekend, as necessary
Regular, reliable and consistent attendance

Preferred

MSc is a plus
Advanced mouse handling and husbandry skills preferred
