Responsibilities

Test, deploy, maintain, and update all networked equipment

Maintain inventory of network parts, hardware, and consumables required to maintain communication rooms

Notify user(s) for any network equipment not repairable in the field

Create and maintain communication room drawings, floor plan, and rack elevation drawings detailing physical location of all equipment and patch panels (i.e. copper and fiber) within rack

Connect, transport, and install systems at assigned field locations for network connected systems and related devices

Document all physical network equipment

Repair, install, and maintain communication room systems when required IAW industry standards. These systems include cable trays, cable conduit, cable hooks/supports, raceways, telecommunication racks (free-standing and wall-mounted), and environmental monitoring equipment
