Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant standards

Present financial results and insights to the board of directors and stakeholders

Lead the budgeting process, including planning, implementation, and analysis

Monitor performance against budgets and suggest corrective actions as needed

Identify and manage financial, operational, and regulatory risks

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and investors

Support fundraising efforts, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives
