Director of Finance and Administration
The State Of Vermont Dept Health is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to lead their business office team. The role involves managing accounting duties, overseeing financial health, and providing administrative support to the Department staff.

Responsibilities
Budget development and monitoring a $55M annual base budget, an annual capital budget, and one-time funds
Oversight of grant and contract administration
Management and monitoring of revenue generated at Vermont's State Parks
Accounting duties including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, and audit response
Supporting the business office team delivering high-quality financial and administrative service
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in accounting, business or public administration or a related field and two years of professional-level experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) administrative functions for a moderate sized office, department or agency
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field and four years of professional-level experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) administrative functions for a moderate sized office, department or agency
Bachelor's degree and six years of professional-level experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) administrative functions for a moderate sized office, department or agency
Two years of full-time college coursework or associate's degree and eight years of professional-level experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) administrative functions for a moderate sized office, department or agency
High school diploma or equivalent and ten years of professional-level experience performing and supervising (directly or indirectly) administrative functions for a moderate sized office, department or agency
One year as an Administrative Services Director II with the State of Vermont
Experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required
