OT Support Engineer
Réalta Technologies is seeking an OT Support Engineer to support their Medical Device client in Warsaw, USA. Responsibilities
Maintain and support OT systems including virtual machine infrastructure, user access management, and remote access enablement
Perform OT asset inventory, firmware management, and end-of-life assessments across site equipment
Execute and verify manual and automated backups of PLCs/HMIs and critical OT systems (Allen-Bradley preferred) and support recovery processes
Manage user onboarding/offboarding and access control in line with IAM and regulatory requirements
Support network connectivity within OT environments, including troubleshooting switch networks and contributing to secure segmentation and firewall rule enforcement
Submit and coordinate IT service requests related to network, server, and firewall infrastructure
Maintain site documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory, GxP, ISRM, and site SOP standards
Participate in OT cybersecurity initiatives, including threat monitoring, remediation planning, and OT system hardening activities
Contribute to OT Business Continuity Planning and disaster recovery preparedness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience in OT/IT support within regulated or industrial environments
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (switching, VLANs, firewalls) and remote access technologies
Familiarity with PLCs/HMIs (preferably Allen-Bradley) with the ability to perform backups rather than full programming
Experience with backup and recovery processes for OT systems and devices
Understanding of virtual machine management and related infrastructure
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity practices such as segmentation, whitelisting, USB hardening, and endpoint monitoring
Strong documentation, compliance, and change control capability
Ability to manage firmware, asset inventories, and lifecycle status of OT equipment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in high-regulation environments
