2+ years expENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to manage expense reports, assist with check runs, and maintain filing systems in their Westmont, IL office.

Maintaining hard copy filing system
Entering of accounts payable invoices
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience with accounting software, word, excel, 10-key and other general office equipment required
Excellent organizational/administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage own workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, vendors, both individually and in front of a group
Good reasoning ability and decision-making skills
Able to understand and utilize reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business
Ability to hear normal conversation, see near objects, and speak clearly
Regular use of the phone, email, text, teams and computer for communication
Sitting for extended period
Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Ability to safely travel by air, car, train, or bus
Preferred
2-3 years accounts payable experience preferred
Knowledge of Viewpoint Accounting program a plus
Knowledge of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts a plus
Team-player and 'can-do' attitude
Good written and verbal communication skills
