Business Development Director - International
RQI Partners is a mission-driven joint partnership between the American Heart Association and Laerdal Medical, transforming how resuscitation training is delivered. The Business Development Director - International will lead the commercial growth of digital programs across diverse regions, driving new business development and ensuring successful partnerships for scalable adoption of life-saving training programs.

Responsibilities
Own the international new‑business development in partnership with in‑country teams and distributors/partners; build, qualify, and advance a multi‑quarter pipeline across APAC, LATAM, and MENA
Co‑own ARR, renewals and subscription targets with field/partner leaders; deliver scalable plays to increase HCC/RQI adoption and expansions
Run the partner operating rhythm (weekly pipeline syncs, quarterly reports, shared targets, and forecast hygiene)
Maintain one commercial owner per partner in each region; for multi‑region partners, coordinate ownership and terms with the Senior Director
Launch enablement playbooks and integrated campaigns in collaboration with International Marketing (positioning, demand, launch execution)
Lead proposals and negotiations; propose commercial terms and escalate pricing/discount exceptions above threshold to the Senior Director for approval
Ensure compliance with internal approval workflows and documentation standards
Drive weekly pipeline reviews, deal inspection, and forecast hygiene with partners and in‑country teams
Lead/participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and provide quarterly reporting on performance metrics
Ensure implementation quality and measurable customer outcomes with partner leadership; remove barriers to adoption, expansions, and renewals
Capture market feedback to inform pricing, packaging, and the Alliance portfolio roadmap
Establish predictable regional coverage, including two late‑day APAC office‑hours blocks/week and quarterly field rotations (batched travel)
Collaborate cross‑functionally with International Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Product/Portfolio teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for otherwise highly qualified candidates in lieu of a degree
10 years combined relevant business/field/sales/marketing or related experience
Clear and effective English communication skill, both written and verbal
Ability to travel up to 40% (domestic & international) to Central and South America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East including United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based on business needs; flexible hours for regional coverage (APAC late‑day)

Arabic proficiency a plus
Experience driving partner‑led growth, pricing/discount governance, and multi‑country commercial agreements for subscription‑based digital programs preferred
