Responsibilities

Support the ISSO team plan, implement, test, and monitor classified cybersecurity measures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
Assist the ISSO team assess and mitigate classified system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle
Assist the ISSO team validate system security requirements and reviews technical system security documentation
Assist the ISSO team assess and mitigate classified system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle
Assist the ISSO team validate system security requirements and reviews technical system security documentation
Assist the ISSO team with reviewing implementation of security procedures and review system security verification requirements

Required

Pursuing degree in a technology related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Science, Information Technology), or engineering degree with minor (or focus) in Computer Science
Working knowledge of computers and/or cybersecurity
Must possess good problem solving skills
Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Preferred

Desire to work in a team environment
Experience with Windows Operating Systems
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Unix
Experience with Splunk, Tenable, and Trellix products
Experience with hardware and/or software systems
Familiarity with cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance
DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technician Level I or II certification (i.e. Sec+, Net+, or SSCP)
