Structured Cabling Project Manager

Responsibilities
Research, plan, and manage the design, administration, installation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide cabling infrastructure projects supporting data, voice, and video systems
Oversee low-voltage systems including cameras, alarms, paging, security, audio-visual, and other facility systems
Coordinate material orders, equipment rentals, meetings, launch dates, and project milestones; track and summarize progress daily
Serve as the main point of contact among clients, technical teams, vendors, subcontractors, and Coast to Coast management
Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to clients and leadership; implement client-driven changes as needed
Organize and maintain all accounting and project documentation, including SOWs, costing worksheets, invoices, certifications, as-builts, and site photos
Drive innovation in workplace technology by researching, evaluating, and integrating modern solutions (AV, BMS/Smart Buildings, IoT, Security, Wi-Fi, Cloud, and Collaboration tools)
Support pre-sales and post-sales processes—assist with quoting, project packets, and installation guidelines
Provide technical and project expertise to team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate, and design IT solutions in collaboration with technologists across a wide range of technologies, including: Low Voltage Structured Cabling, Wireless Networks and Fiber, Paging / Emergency Evacuation Systems (Bogen, Valcom, Algo), Audio / Video Systems (AV), Security and Access Control, Next-Generation Workplace Technology Architecture, Design, and Integration, Collaboration Tools and Platforms, Scheduling and Workplace Management Solutions, and Office Automation / Smart Office Systems
Minimum 5 years of technology project delivery experience managing complex, business-critical IT projects (solutioning, design, implementation)
2–5 years of client relations, project estimation, installation, and/or field experience
Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills across multiple stakeholders
Strategic thinker and problem solver with a proven track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget
Preferred
BICSI RTPM certification preferred (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager)
