The Wall Street Journal, through its Decider News platform, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative News Intern to join their team this spring. The role involves conducting research, editing digital assets, participating in content planning, and assisting in covering entertainment and pop culture news.

Responsibilities

Conduct research for exciting content the Decider team is working on, from articles and lists to reports and deep dives

Gather and edit digital assets (images, screencaps, GIFs, videos) that bring Decider stories to life

Participate in content planning meetings and pitch your own fresh ideas for blog posts, galleries, videos, and social media campaigns

Execute approved content on Decider.com and across our social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to engage our audience

Assist the Decider News Editor in covering the latest entertainment, streaming, and pop culture news with speed and accuracy

Write and report weekly stories, SEO-driven articles, and blog posts—getting your byline out there!

You’ll gain invaluable experience in editorial, research, and social media, all while learning from industry pros in a fun and collaborative environment

Required

Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is required
