The CAD Designer will support transportation and infrastructure projects by preparing, revising, and managing construction drawings while collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to set up, prepare, and manage construction drawings
Prepare dimensional drawings and create or modify base drawings
Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes
Create and manage electronic document file structures and naming conventions in accordance with company and client standards
Prepare project documents from project initiation through completion with professional-quality output
Support multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion
Apply and follow applicable CAD standards, including client-specific or Tetra Tech standards
Develop drawings that meet or exceed customer requirements during bid and submittal phases
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in CAD Drafting or a related field from a technical trade school, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Proven experience using CAD platforms for civil drawings in compliance with client standards
Proficiency working with feature lines, grading objects, survey points, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks
Preferred
Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Bluebeam or similar PDF tools
Experience generating layout drawings from sketches and specifications
