Responsibilities
Lead the development of camera pipelines and tuning processes to optimize image quality for smart wearable devices
Innovate algorithms for image and video enhancement, addressing challenges like low-light performance, noise reduction, and dynamic range
Establish scalable methodologies for camera tuning and image quality evaluation
Develop metrics and benchmarks for assessing and maintaining high image quality standards
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of imaging systems
Align camera system outputs with machine vision tasks and vision-language models for wearable applications
Manage and mentor a team of imaging experts or provide technical leadership in cross-functional settings
Qualification
Required
Expertise in camera pipeline development, image signal processing (ISP), and image quality evaluation
Proficiency in developing algorithms for image enhancement, including HDR, color correction, and low-light optimization
Experience with machine vision applications, particularly involving AI-based systems like vision-language models
Knowledge of power-efficient algorithm design for wearable or embedded devices
Familiarity with systematic tuning methodologies and automated camera calibration tools
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred
Experience with AI-driven imaging solutions
Knowledge of smart wearable design constraints and user experience considerations
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for image quality testing and automation
