Responsibilities

Control all plant drawings and coordinate all drawing activities
Work directly with engineering and maintenance in sourcing drawings for aid in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical equipment issues
Interface with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to develop and design equipment for a manufacturing environment
Ensure all documentation for projects are completed such as drawings, spare parts, procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and Calibration

Required

2 year Technical degree
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, CAD/CAM, Manufacturing OR Equivalent experience with certificate of drafting
2 years or more
Proficient with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software package
Experience with Excel
Strong design/problem solving skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Ability to create full drawing packages and update detail drawings for projects and manufacturing
Working knowledge to interpret and accurately implement GD&T
Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
Self-motivated, can work independently, with high commitment
Technical curiosity that will enable unique design solutions to the problem
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with good planning and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills

Preferred

AutoCAD design software
Manufacturing work experience
Working knowledge and hands-on experience of mechanical and electrical systems
Advanced computer skills
Experience with extrusion AM (3D Printing)
Experience working in SolidWorks PDM or other drawing vault system
