Refreshment Service Technician
American Food & Vending is one of the largest privately-held dining and refreshment service providers in the United States. As a Refreshment Service Technician, you will service, repair, and maintain vending machines and beverage dispensers while ensuring outstanding customer service at client locations.

Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles to visit client locations for the repair, maintenance, and installation of vending machines and beverage dispensers for water and coffee
Respond promptly to service calls, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
Install, maintain, and repair a variety of vending, beverage, coffee, water, and micro market equipment
Conduct systematic inspections of motors, keypads, cooling systems, electrical wiring, and water connections to ensure peak equipment performance
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machine components such as pressure gauges and thermostats
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation standards for all machines and surrounding service areas
Manage parts inventory, place orders for necessary repair components, and maintain accurate service documentation and maintenance logs
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with applicable plumbing, electrical, and health and safety regulations
Safely transport equipment to and from repair facilities as needed
Maintain company vehicles and tools in clean, organized, and working condition
Collaborate closely with route drivers, fellow technicians, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional client support
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Technical or associate-level training in electronics, mechanics, or related field preferred
2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, vending, kiosk, POS, or similar technical repair roles
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of automated systems, microprocessors, and schematics
Proficient with diagnostic tools, handheld devices, and basic service software
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and customer service abilities
Able to lift 30 lbs., bend, kneel, climb, and work in varied environments
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
