Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and deliver development projects according to approved scope, timelines, and budgets
Break initiatives into clear, estimable units of work with defined acceptance criteria
Ensure teams meet commitments and escalate risks early
Produce accurate effort estimates using standardized frameworks and historical performance data
Manage team capacity across concurrent projects and operational work
Track estimate vs. actuals and continuously improve forecasting accuracy
Lead, mentor, and coach full-stack developers (Laravel, Firebase, cloud-based applications)
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability, testing, and security
Support career growth while maintaining high performance standards
Ensure clean architecture, scalable design, and secure implementations
Oversee testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
Reduce technical debt through intentional planning and refactoring
Partner with Product Managers to clarify requirements and manage scope
Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders
Ensure development work supports defined business outcomes
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years leading software development teams
Hands-on experience with Laravel and Firebase
Full-stack web development
RESTful APIs and cloud services
Proven ability to estimate work accurately and deliver on commitments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Laravel: 3 years (Required)
Firebase: 3 years (Required)
Full-stack development: 5 years (Required)
