Light phone duties and greeting of clients
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery (requests and responses)
Submitting and following up on requests for medical records, Social Security records, and personnel records
Composing summaries and chronologies of medical records
Maintaining records of trial and case deadlines
Communications with clients, insurers, and witnesses
Performing research
Proofreading documents
Filing documents electronically
Ensuring effective service of documents (electronic and hard copies)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Assist the firm's attorneys with all tasks that arise including records collection, discovery, and all aspects of trial preparation

Preferred
One (1) to (5) years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal environment is preferred but willing to consider all levels of experience
Associate degree/Paralegal Certification
Pleasant and professional demeanor
Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the office team, as well as with outside co-counsel
