Responsibilities
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations (with increasing responsibility over time)
Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy
Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment while meeting strict deadlines
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow under the guidance of senior attorneys
Preferred
2+ years experience in litigation or insurance defense is a plus but not required
Familiarity with one or more of the following: premises liability, personal injury, workers' comp, auto claims, or maritime law
Courtroom or deposition experience is helpful but not mandatory
Bilingual abilities are a plus
