Responsibilities

Driving Results and Accountability
Decisive Goal-Oriented Leadership : Focus on achieving project milestones and activation dates, making data-driven decisions to address roadblocks
Establish a Collaborative Environment : Cultivate a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team environment that promotes collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect
Exceptional Cross-Functional Project Leadership : Manage and synchronize complex, multi-stream projects, expertly managing dependencies and mitigating risks across teams
High-Stakes Accountability and Follow-Through : Establish clear performance expectations and metrics for team leaders
Performance and Development Management : Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, provide constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities for team members
Conflict Resolution and Team Alignment : Identify and resolve inter-team conflicts and competing priorities among team leaders
Foster a Shared Vision : Ensure all team members understand how their tasks contribute to the overall launch success and client goals
Sustained Resilience and Adaptability : Demonstrate calm, focused leadership under the pressure of major EMR implementations, guiding teams through unexpected challenges
Strategic Implementation Oversight
Methodology Adherence : Ensure adherence to VieCure’s standard launch methodology, applying proper governance and quality assurance processes
Resource Allocation : Strategically manage team resources based on evolving project phases and customer needs
Change Management Leadership : Champion the change management process, ensuring effective training and communication strategies for different user groups
Project Management & Delivery
Lead the full project lifecycle from launch activities to activation and transition to Customer Success Management
Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules using standard project management methodologies
Act as the primary contact between customer leadership/clinical teams and internal development/technical teams
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, developing timely mitigation strategies
Post-Implementation & Optimization
Oversee the transition phase, ensuring a successful handoff to customer support and success teams
Execution Oversight
Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring all necessary personnel are available
Validate client infrastructure readiness (e.g., network, hardware) to meet platform requirements
Ensure technical components (e.g., data conversions, system integrations) are ready for activation
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing clinical workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
Communicate workflow configurations accurately to training and technical teams
Oversee training plan execution, ensuring all end-users are proficient before activation
Client Relationship Management
Manage customer expectations and maintain positive, collaborative relationships throughout the launch process
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear updates to both customer and internal stakeholders

Required

3+ years managing software implementation projects
2+ years managing a team, preferably in EMR/EHR, Health IT, or Community Health
Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficient understanding of clinical and financial workflows and interfaces using HL7 and/or FHIR standards
Familiarity with database concepts and cloud infrastructure common in SaaS models
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams

Preferred

PMP certification is a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification is highly desirable
