Associa is looking for a Home-Owner Association Staff Accountant to oversee association financials. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices and maintaining internal accounting controls.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the association accounting

Oversee accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and FDIC limits

Meet financial accounting objectives

Review and oversee external and internal audits

General Ledger analysis

Conduct month-end and year-end close reconciliations and processes

Prepare financials for Association Board of Directors

Interact with Association Managers

Review Association budgets

Required

Proven working experience with financials

Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

At least five(5) years of experience in accounting

Must pass background check and drug screen

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, crawl, talk, hear, push, pull, grasp, use hands and fingers, have clear vision and lift up to 15 pounds
