Director/ExecutiveBakersfield Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Staff Development (DSD) to lead their education and training efforts. The DSD plays a vital role in ensuring staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee all staff education and in-service training programs
Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
Maintain accurate records of employee education, certifications, and training hours
Evaluate staff competency and provide ongoing education to support professional development
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and implement solutions
Ensure infection prevention and safety protocols are included in training programs
Promote a culture of learning, teamwork, and excellence in resident care
Qualification
Required
Current and valid LVN license in the State of California
Must hold Director of Staff Development certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lead with professionalism, compassion, and enthusiasm
Preferred
Previous experience in staff development, education, or training in a healthcare/SNF setting preferred
