Responsibilities
Perform routine trending and analysis of system parameters to identify early indicators of equipment degradation
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and scheduling teams to ensure reliability-related work is executed with proper timing and quality
Conduct regular system walkdowns to identify emerging equipment issues and degradation trends
Review and enhance existing maintenance strategies to align with industry best practices and lessons learned
Support implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve system reliability and availability
Lead or support root cause evaluations for equipment failures and develop corrective action plans
Drive long-term planning initiatives focused on lifecycle management of critical mechanical assets
Participate in industry benchmarking and best-practice sharing
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including Maintenance Rule (10 CFR 50.65), and internal quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines
Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned programs, projects, and tasks
Ability to develop strategies that optimize resource utilization
Skilled in conflict resolution and fostering win-win outcomes
Commitment to accountability, integrity, and high performance
Respect for diversity and the dignity of all individuals
Assumes personal responsibility for individual and organizational success
Preferred
Experience using work management systems such as Maximo or similar platforms
Familiarity with mechanical maintenance practices, particularly related to pumps and/or valves
Working knowledge of causal analysis methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies and condition monitoring tools
Ability to make sound engineering decisions using experience, data, and accepted industry practices, particularly in environments where safety and reliability are critical
