Business Analyst Fellow Advisor
COMPA Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Business Analyst Fellow Advisor position supporting Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) in Aiken, South Carolina. This role serves as a senior-most financial and project controls subject matter expert, providing strategic advisory leadership across SRNS programs and guiding project controls organizations and mentoring senior analysts.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic advisory support for highly complex Project Controls, Financial Analysis, and Planning & Scheduling activities
Develop, implement, and direct total project or program controls efforts across major work scopes
Lead development of project baseline plans, milestone schedules, WBS structures, and spend plans
Innovate advanced project control and financial analysis methodologies, including system enhancements
Provide expert oversight of cost and schedule variance analysis and corrective action planning
Maintain expert-level knowledge of SRNS Site Business Systems and recommend performance improvements
Provide technical and administrative leadership, mentoring, and coaching to:
Project Controls Analysts
Financial Analysts
Planning & Scheduling specialists
Develop and deliver advanced training programs in:
Project Controls
Financial Controls
Planning & Scheduling systems and methodologies
Prepare and present complex financial and project performance information to senior and executive SRNS leadership
Conduct highly complex, cross-disciplinary financial and technical analyses to support milestone achievement
Perform risk analysis and provide advisory decision support for corrective actions and priority setting
Act as a trusted business and financial advisor to project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Minimum 20+ years of experience in project controls, financial analysis, planning & scheduling, or related advisory roles
Extensive experience providing strategic advisory support for highly complex projects or programs
Demonstrated expertise in project baseline development, including schedules, WBS, and spend plans
Proven leadership in project controls, financial analysis, and planning & scheduling systems
Experience advising senior and executive-level management within large, complex organizations
Education & Experience (one of the following): Master's degree in business, construction management, technical, or engineering discipline + 17 years of experience; Bachelor's degree in a related discipline + 21 years of experience; Associate degree + 23 years of experience; High School Diploma + 24 years of relevant experience
20+ years in project controls, financial analysis, or planning & scheduling
Expert proficiency with automated cost management, scheduling, estimating, and financial systems
Extensive experience supporting complex, multi-project environments
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and executive-level advisory experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance
Active clearance not required at time of hire
Subcontractor must maintain active eFOCI registration and Facility Clearance
Preferred
Nuclear industry experience (DOE complex experience strongly preferred)
Project controls, project management, and construction experience
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Executive-level presentation and communication skills
Strong leadership, mentoring, and strategic advisory capabilities
