Supply Chain Value Analyst (Hybrid)

The Supply Chain Value Analyst will provide finance-based analytical support to Supply Chain Management, focusing on analyzing supply expenses and identifying savings opportunities.

Responsibilities
Produce and run pricing models for supply chain initiatives. Summarize detailed pricing analyses for management review
Compile data from disparate operational and financial sources and analyze the effects of internal/external factors on the results. Compare results to external benchmarks
Provides assessment of financial impact of capital related initiatives identified by SCM Senior Management
Performs analysis and due diligence on potential efficiency and/or savings opportunities including the post implementation lookback and tracking reviews
Assists in the implementation of supply chain initiatives including preparing initial analysis, decision-framing, project management, and/or change agent role, as needed
Maintain existing supply chain reporting and KPIs, including updating data sources and creating additional reporting as needed
Create and maintain visualizations, to including reports and interactive dashboards
Prepare analyses to evaluate supply expense including review of budget-to-actual differences
Identifies areas for improvement based on analytics and operational processes to improve capacity, efficiency and overall effectiveness
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration or related field required
Detailed-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office including working knowledge of spreadsheets, database and word processing
Proficient in data management and connecting disparate data sources for correlated results
Business acumen and understanding of financial terms
Data-mining, analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred
1 year of relevant work experience preferred
