Sales Executive- West Coast (Canada; USA)

TRAFFIX is a Third-Party Logistics leader with over 40 years of experience, seeking a Sales Executive to help achieve branch targets and business goals. The role involves identifying supply chain challenges for companies and presenting TRAFFIX’s services as solutions.

Transportation

Responsibilities

Prospecting for companies that ship freight within North America
Researching companies/contacts, preparing for initial call
Cold calling and/or cold emailing prospects to initiate conversations
Identifying business opportunities within new and current customers
Building and maintaining customer relationships
Monitoring trends and changes in customer purchase behavior and following up to determine the root cause
Collaborating with TRAFFIX experts to set up discovery calls and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers
Lead your team in generating pricing strategies that fit the client’s budget while supporting the success of the branch
Be accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Required

1-3 years of successful experience working in transportation and logistics
Experience in a customer sales role for at least 1 year
Ability to bypass gatekeepers and identify decision-makers
Self-starter and able to work independently
Incentive-driven and passionate about hunting for new business
Ability to cultivate lasting customer relationships
Efficiently handle client challenges using emotional intelligence
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable speaking with prospects from medium-sized companies to C-Suite executives of Fortune 500 corporations
Problem solver who generates solutions for client challenges
Desire for constant growth and not getting comfortable

Preferred

3PL experience is an asset
Experience operating in transportation and logistics for 4+ years for Senior Sales Executive
