Responsibilities

Assist one or more project managers with managing the details of IT projects to include the day-to-day business and internal team organization and communications, assisting with producing project deliverables

Learn the Agile methodology

Become familiar with project lifecycle activities such as initiation, kickoff and ceremonies such as Standup, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives and Story Mapping

Learn to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements

Learn basic testing, test planning, and automated testing skills

Complete a QA roadmap project or increase manpower on an IT project

Introduce the IT Intern to Java programming and other web technologies

Create a Web Service using Spring framework

Work on Web team’s technical backlog

Provide additional manpower on a Governance-approved IT project

Learn basic troubleshooting, installation automation, and system administration

Be able to handle all functions of Level 1 Support

Create and deploy automation packages

Work with members of the Information Security team to improve, monitor and manage difference aspects of the AAA Life security program

Fulfill user access requests

Triage and close security incidents

Required

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Majors in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field

Must be at least Sophomore, Junior or Seniors at an accredited university by the summer of 2025

Strong written and oral communication

Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting

Flexibility to work within a multiple discipline team and receive dynamic on the job training

Highly organized, ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks
