Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of facilities management services, ensuring safety, compliance, and uninterrupted operations
Act as the trusted advisor for all facilities-related matters, including schedules, budgets, projects, and staffing
Direct and develop a team of facilities professionals; manage hiring, performance reviews, and training compliance
Maintain and optimize critical electrical, mechanical, BAS, EPMS, BMS, and fire protection systems
Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure adherence to SLAs, audit CMMS databases, and maintain accurate operating procedures
Supervise and escalate responses to after-hours emergencies
Identify, vet, and manage subcontractors; develop preventive maintenance scopes and ensure contract fulfillment
Drive operational enhancements through process audits, training programs, and performance metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent experience (5–7+ years in mission-critical operations)
Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as Corrigo, ServiceNow, or equivalent – REQUIRED
5+ years in a management role with direct reports
Expertise in vendor management and cost optimization
Proven ability to generate cost savings through continuous improvement initiatives
Positive attitude and strong cultural fit
Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in day-to-day operations
Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level reporting
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of purchasing and subcontract management
Ability to sit for prolonged periods in an office environment
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting objects of 10 lbs or more
Preferred
Technical school or military operational experience
Strong background in electrical or mechanical systems
