Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and execute all scheduled finance and accounting projects, including process improvements and documentation, system implementation, and compliance initiatives
Work closely with global finance, accounting, IT, HR, and legal teams to ensure projects are aligned with global business objectives and regulatory requirements
Develop detailed weekly project plans, set milestones, facilitate meetings, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful delivery
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership
Manage project budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring adherence to firm policies and best practices
Facilitate training and change management approaches for new systems and processes across the US region

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA or equivalent certification
5+ years of accounting experience in a law firm or professional services partnership
Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and financial systems (e.g., ERP, SAP, Oracle)
Advanced proficiency with Excel and Elite 3E and/or Aderant software
Strong leadership skills to work successfully with senior management and staff in a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
Thorough understanding of finance processes (AP, AR, Billing, General Ledger, and tax reporting)
Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP and tax basis differences for partnerships
Strong attention to detail and proven abilities to provide high level of accuracy in work products
Process-oriented mindset for project management objectives
