Chief Information Officer

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a fully integrated technology ecosystem, ensuring robust data exchange between core platforms
Provide leadership in organization-wide IT standards, programs, and systems to achieve strategic objectives and outcomes
Direct IT staff, holding them accountable for meeting performance targets and completing objectives
Oversee cybersecurity protections, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH)
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop partnerships, resolve problems, and promote positive relationships across the organization

Required

A master's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare provider organization
Proven experience with EHR implementation, optimization, and management (e.g., NextGen)
Proven history of successfully managing large-scale IT projects and initiatives
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH)
Experience with healthcare data analytics and business intelligence tools
Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver's license (within 30 days of hire if the applicant is from out of state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the past five years
No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years
Must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license during employment
Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the first ninety (90) calendar days of employment and maintain a valid card for the duration of employment with NATIVE HEALTH
Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment
Must provide an up-to-date immunization (IZ) record upon employment
Must have a current Tuberculosis (TB) skin test report within the past 12 months upon employment and provide an annual update
Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 calendar days of employment and maintain certification during employment

Preferred

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity is preferred
