Responsibilities

Deliver competent medical care to patients at WakeMed
Complete referrals, consults, daily patient rounds, daily notes, discharge summaries, procedures, clinic notes, pre and post procedure care, prescribing, and patient care follow-ups
Work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach
Function as an educator for PA/NP/CNM students from healthcare education programs
Maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governed by the North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing and any other federal or state regulatory agencies
Support the mission, values, and management of WakeMed

Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Board Certification in Area of Practice
