Responsibilities

Setting up and operating CNC turret punch presses and/or laser cutting machines

Loading and unloading materials (sheet metal, etc.)

Running programs and making adjustments as needed

Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues

Interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications

Measuring and inspecting finished parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Ensuring parts adhere to quality standards

Identifying and reporting defects

Selecting and installing appropriate tooling

Performing machine setups and adjustments

Maintaining tooling and equipment

Performing routine maintenance on machines

Reporting any equipment malfunctions
