Responsibilities
Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry and transaction processing
Help with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Support bank and general ledger account reconciliations
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions
Maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions
Contribute to audit preparation by organizing supporting documentation
Help maintain internal control procedures and accounting documentation
Provide administrative and analytical support to the Controller and accounting team
Participate in team projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or in final year of completing degree)
0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships, part-time roles, or school projects count!)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables)
Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
A positive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges
Preferred
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software – a plus
