Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver industrial automation and control systems across a variety of projects and industries
Support work from early design through commissioning, helping ensure systems are built thoughtfully, function reliably, and meet project requirements
Develop PLC code on platforms such as Rockwell and Siemens
Design and configure HMI and SCADA systems using tools like Ignition or Wonderware
Review control panel designs and vendor submittals
Support system integration, troubleshoot issues during testing and startup, and help drive projects to successful completion
Guide project execution by working closely with project managers, junior engineers, and client stakeholders
Provide technical direction, review deliverables, identify risks or gaps early, and help the team make sound engineering decisions throughout the project lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Experience in the automation industry
Experience in regulated environments
Understanding of the importance of documentation, testing, and traceability
Ability to design, develop, and deliver industrial automation and control systems
Experience with PLC code development on platforms such as Rockwell and Siemens
Experience in designing and configuring HMI and SCADA systems using tools like Ignition or Wonderware
Ability to review control panel designs and vendor submittals
Experience in system integration and troubleshooting issues during testing and startup
Ability to provide technical direction and review deliverables
Ability to identify risks or gaps early and help the team make sound engineering decisions
