Responsibilities
Design systems and integrate the multiple systems using SolidWorks from initial concept stage through production launch
Generate and provide analysis of FEA studies in Solidworks
Generate and analyze drawings from parts/assemblies IAW ASME 14.100 and MIL- STD-31000
Assist in production problem solving by interfacing with the manufacturing team to find creative solutions
Communicate and collaborate with team members and represent the company with customers and suppliers
Qualification
Required
4-year Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience OR 2-year technical college degree/military experience with 15+ years of mechanical and design/drawing experience
Experience designing mechanical systems and power generation and distribution systems
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), problem solving, technical documentation/communication
SolidWorks and 2D CAD and mechanical design experience are mandatory for this position
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving abilities
Must be eligible to receive U.S. Security Clearance
Must have ability and some flexibility to travel domestically and internationally - up to 20%
