DWI & Drug Courts Case Manager

NEOGOV is seeking a DWI & Drug Courts Case Manager to provide professional case management services to participants in the Hays County DWI & Drug Courts Program. The role involves conducting assessments, delivering interventions, monitoring compliance, and coordinating services to support participants with substance use disorders and related needs.

Responsibilities

Conducts intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and substance use screenings for assigned DWI & Drug Courts participants
Develops individualized case plans that align with treatment court phases, clinical needs, court expectations, and risk-reduction strategies
Provides case management services including crisis intervention, resource referral, motivational interviewing, and coordination of care with treatment providers
Monitors participant compliance with treatment, testing, sanctions, incentives, and court-ordered conditions
Maintains regular contact with participants through scheduled meetings, field visits, telephone communication, and electronic communication as appropriate
Prepares detailed progress reports for weekly staffing meetings and judicial review hearings
Communicates participant updates to the DWI & Drug Courts team, including the Judges, Court Administrator, probation officers, prosecutors, defense counsel, and treatment providers
Documents all case management activities in accordance with grant requirements, clinical standards, and confidentiality laws (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2)
Identifies barriers to participant success and collaborates with the Court Administrator and the DWI & Drug Courts teams to develop corrective strategies
Facilitates or co-facilitates evidence-based groups, educational programming, or support sessions as assigned
Provides participants with referrals related to mental health, trauma services, substance abuse treatment, medical care, transportation, housing, employment assistance, and other community resources
Participates in staffing meetings, case reviews, training, and continuing education related to specialty court operations and behavioral health treatment
Assists the DWI & Drug Courts teams in preparing grant documentation, statistical reports, compliance records, and outcome data
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Master's degree required in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
Experience working with clients with trauma, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders
Must hold one of the following unrestricted Texas licenses: LCDC, LCDC-Intern, LPC, LPC-Associate, or LMSW
Class C driver's license

Preferred

Experience providing case management in a behavioral health, criminal justice, treatment court, or social services setting preferred
