QUALITY ANALYST - QUALITY AND ANALYTICS

Responsibilities
Works independently under the direction of the Manager of Quality Reporting and Analytics to Provide reliable, valid, and goal-oriented information for the purpose of supporting performance and operational improvement
Utilizes various UW MEDICAL CENTER tools including, but not limited to Power BI, Performance Manager, EPIC Reports, the Data Analytics Warehouse Galaxy, and the Vizient Clinical Database to prepare complex analysis and interpretations with high degree of accuracy to the organization
Networks with faculty, staff and leaders from all levels of management to perform analysis of the data to Looks for trends and opportunities and develop recommendations for improvements
Consults with and assisting managers, service QI reps, clinics and departments with establishing and/or maintaining
Surveys the external landscape to anticipate changes to the regulatory and national reporting environment as it relates to quality, safety, and service. Disseminates information to stakeholders in the organization to enhance organizational agility
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Health administration, health information, or related field
Minimum four years of experience working with healthcare quality data
Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of tools for the design and development of reporting and analytics including but not limited to Excel, Power BI, Performance Manager, EPIC Reporting, and others
Equivalent experience may substitute for education requirements
