Perform physical, chemical, and bacteriological analyses on wastewater and other samples
Support process evaluation
Ensure compliance with water quality standards
Monitor water quality in the Blackstone River
Collection of wastewater and other samples
Preparing reagents and glassware
Use of laboratory instrumentation
Entering laboratory results into a database or spreadsheet program
Assisting the industrial pretreatment program with sampling events and inspections at local industries
Qualification
Required
An associate's degree related to environmental science or related studies is required
Prior work in a laboratory environment is required
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
Candidates with previous experience working in a wastewater or pretreatment-related capacity are encouraged to apply
