Responsibilities

Design municipal projects using Civil 3D to successfully complete site, grading, drainage, and stormwater projects within established budgets and deadlines

Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments

Assist with proposal development for professional services

Coordinate with public and private utilities, as well as other disciplines

Perform and review hydrologic and hydraulic calculations

Prepare and review cost estimates for accuracy and completeness of scope

Assist Project Manager with tracking project budget and schedules

Attend meetings with municipal stakeholders and present components of assignments

Perform field investigations/site visits, as needed

Qualification

Civil engineering degreeEIT certificationAutoCAD Civil 3DTechnical skills applicationEnglish proficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering

5+ years of related engineering experience, preferably with municipal projects

EIT (Engineer-In-Training) certification

Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to design site layouts concept through completion

Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge

Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Preferred

Professional Engineer license or working towards licensure
